A Healing Tanka

shards of fractured days

slice deeply through battered skin

blood spills through the cracks

 heartless world mocks, looks away

but love observes and binds wounds

~

Dedicated to all the abused children in this world who need loving arms to hold them.

    1. Thank you, Steve! I think well-meaning people often add to the wound because they don’t “observe” first. We need to spend time listening.
      Have a wonderful weekend!😊

  1. Tanya can I just take the time tell you that your work is outstanding and I am extremely grateful that you take the time to read my periodical (sometimes weird) posts. Apologies for any choice language.. I look forward to reading more next year sorry I haven’t liked them all it’s purely time related but one day I will catch up!!!!.. Happy new year to you. X

  2. You have a way with words that few writer’s (I have read) compare. Your words seem carefully chosen adding value and meaning to each post. I wish you much creativity and deep felt emotions in future writings.

Wishing you and your family a very HEALTHY and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
