  1. I take it you are no Trump fan. I’m not either, I didn’t vote for him myself. I am willing to extend him the chance to prove some of his actions will be better from his disgraceful words. He has many experienced politicians around him who may help him learn. Now if only he will listen…Sorry if I have drawn the wrong conclusion!

    🙂

      1. Well, I hope I didn’t strike a nerve, Tanya. I know there seems to be so much hypocrisy with Trump, and really with the many politicians and law makers too.

Our “cleansing” seems to be something that is hard to visualize, I grant you. Just watch tomorrow how much hatred will be spewed across the TV screen! That really makes me sad…

You use your words to rid yourself of as much negativity as you can. It isn’t good for you to carry it around…

        Hope you feel better!

        🙂

      2. I won’t watch it. It just makes me angry. I’d rather use that energy toward something useful…Lol
That’s why I write it out. I can’t do anything else about it, but then I can let it go…
        Have a great evening, Steve!😊

      1. Say, Manuel. I’m putting together a book of poetry with all the proceeds going to fund Art Programs in juvenile detention centers. You can check out info here: https://tanyacliff.com/a-haiku-4-ricky/
I need to get a list of people willing to review the book. I will provide the copy. I know you have a lot of contacts in the blogosphere. If you, or anyone you know would be interested, you can reach me through my e-mail contact on that page. Thanks, Manuel!

      2. Sorry, Manuel…I had to repost it…It must have saved under a different link…It’s at the top of my page under “A Haiku for Ricky Baker”…

      3. I re blog your post and I will try and clear my schedule to see if I can review the book. I will tell you within 2 or 3 days. I think it is great what you are doing.

      4. Thank you so much, Manuel. I won’t have a copy of the book to send you until at least next month. I’m still putting a few pieces together for it. But I will update you at that point, and see if you have time. I’m using some pieces from my blog and some new pieces that talk about at-risk youth. Hugs and thanks again!

    1. Thank you, Kimberly. I’m actually putting together a book of poetry right now with all the proceeds going to fund Art Programs in juvenile detention centers. I will be including some new haiku in the project. If you are curious, you can check it out on my page:

I’m putting together a list of people willing to review the book <100 pages. I'll supply the copy. If you are interested, or know anyone who loves poetry or good causes and might be, you can link to my e-mail there.

I'll keep posting haiku to the blog as well. Thanks again for your kind comment and encouragement. It means a lot to me!
