I Played

I played
a beautiful song
in multicolored notes
scattered
across a lined page
carefully metered
for sweet-sounding melody

wind-blown notes from warm lips –
the air-born gifts of a hand-held flute

I played
on a concrete step
that led
to a House of White
flattered
where they stole my sheet
and blotted out the rainbow hues

leaving me but a monotonous tune –
the repetitive honk of a lonely goose

  1. Now that’s what I call Awesome. We would love your feedback on a few of our stories come on by and check out Lardy Arms, Queen Kong and I…Rutjob. This blogger is so beautiful

      1. I’ll be here all night, I kind of have a way with words and enjoy talking with models who write well, stay gorgeous Tanya , because whatever your doing works

      1. Tanya, I am still amazed we elected a man whose history makes him so unqualified for the job. It will only get worse, I fear. Keith

      1. Absolutely. The videos I have on WP were all edited with Adobe Elements 14 software. You can purchase it in a package with Photoshop. It’s pretty straightforward to use, which is a good thing, because stop-motion is labor intensive.

      2. You’re very welcome. I’ll post that video tomorrow. It involved more than 100 pictures and several hundred frames, several layers of video filters and sound, as well as the words and graphic effects. For something that only lasts 1 1/2 minutes, it’s a lot of “stuff”…lol
I hope you like it! If you have any other questions, just ask.

      1. Thank you, Tiffany! That means a lot to me. The book is still up there. They don’t “time out” on reviews as far as I know.
Have a wonderful weekend, if I don’t talk to you before!
