Alas, the bag women and the old man who pushes his life belongings along the street in a shopping cart …may they get some sunshine in their lives …

I first learned about this among children in foster care when I lived in Texas. A high school student there had set up a charity to donate filled backpacks for these kids, because all that many of them had were garbage bags. Can you imagine? It breaks my heart.
