A Marauder’s Sleep

I sleep
a down pillow
anchors my weary head
while thoughts soar wildly unbounded
and sail on clouds, stealing the dark night’s gems
this pirate plunders the heavens
and burns stars into dreams
adventuresome
I sleep

      1. I’m guilty of dreaming now and then! You are so welcome for the sunshine. BTW, what do you think of that guy who sent the manifesto to Mr. Trump? I thought they said they were looking for him in Wisconsin…

      2. Lol…crazy. It sounds like he has a lot of “issues”. He made threats in a different community. I haven’t heard too much about it around here though, other than his step-dad said he was a dangerous man…yep.

      3. Well, you and your family just take care and beware of your surroundings. He is probably miles, even states away from you, but nevertheless, just be careful out there…

        🙂

  1. I played with that for a while. I love the imagery. Thank you, again, for taking the time to read through these. It really does mean a lot to me!

    1. It is a gift you are giving to others, and I’m honored that you are taking the time to read through mine. We writers bleed words, imprinting our hearts on the page. So, yeah…It’s a window in.
