Thanks for the share, my friend. It’s finally feeling like spring here. You are fortunate with the weather you get to enjoy all year!
I love the weather here. The food as well. Not to mention the scenery. How are you doing?
I’m great and keeping busy. I would say “keeping out of trouble”, but my “busy” usually involves mischief of one sort or another.
Mischief is good as long as you don’t get indicted or have emergency surgery because of that mischief.
Agreed…I will try to avoid those things. Have a great weekend.
I will do my best and look forward to your next post.
Love it!
Thank you! Welcome spring…
Welcome Spring indeed :D! I hope it brings a few more of you’re lovely Spring related Haiku’s and Tanka’s
It usually does…Lol
Have a wonderful day!😊
I look forward to them 🙂 Thank you!
You’ve given me inspiration to write a couple of Haiku’s, I’d love it if you could take a look and give me some feedback.
I’ll be happy to. I have found the form to be addictive…Lol
Thank you so much :D!! Yes, I think you may be right there haha
It’s like a new toy in your toy box! Have fun with it!
I will do, thanks so much for the feedback, and the inspiration!
I was happy to do it!😊
Spring with a big s t r e t c h! Very nice, Tanya. We have a summer-like situation here with temps. in the mid to high 80’s. They say some rain by Saturday, but I’ll have to see it to believe it! Enjoy your day…
Steve 🙂
I will, Steve! It is bright out and warming up. It’s supposed to be really nice by the weekend. I can get out and take more Barbie pictures…Lol
That’s great! I’m so looking forward to another Barbie and Ken “flick!” 🙂
I’m working out the plan for the next one! 😊
Oh, the production of one of your little Barbie films must really be something to watch! Enjoy the sunshine, lady!
We have fun! Thank you, Steve! I will.😊
You are so far ahead of us … many of our streams are still frozen … great photo … I sometimes wonder what we mean when we say “green” … nice poem too.
Thank you, Roger! It’s looking really nice this weekend. I’ll try to encourage it to stretch your way…Lol
Thin sun through low, thin clouds today … looks as though it may improve after overnight rain.
It is lovely here, warm and sunny. It will make it your way! Have a great day, Roger!
The sun has now broken through the clouds. he snow is slowly vanishing … oh frabjous day …
Good thing!😊
nice.
Thank you!
Wonderful peice on spring.hey tanya !! What is d meaning of tanka.?
Thank you, Aruna! Tanka is a Japanese poetry form with a syllable pattern 5-7-5-7-7
The first three lines, or “upper phrase”, were often nature observations, and the last two, or “lower phrase”, were for the writer’s thoughts or interpretations.
It’s a fun form to play with!
Oh .thanks dear tanya💜
You are welcome, Aruna!❤
❤💙💚💛
I’d like to toss a blanket down there and take a nap
It is a beautiful location…one of my favorites!
Beautiful, Tanya!
Thank you so much, Jennie! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
You are welcome, Tanya. Best to you!
😊
Thank you! That’s how it felt in my corner of the globe this year. We went from cold, wet weather to warm and sunny overnight. I had my furnace and fireplace on one night and my windows open the next.
Yes. My brother lived in NH for a few years. That’s a beautiful part of this country. Winter is not my favorite time of year. I get a little envious of my blogging friends who live in warm climates during those long months. It is beautiful here now though!
I love it for a while. I like playing with my kids out in the snow, and I love the woods after a deep blanket falls…just the silence of it. I love hours spent curled up in front of my fireplace. About mid-February, I am ready for green leaves and warm air.
I had a wood FP in my old house, but this house is gas. It’s clean and warm, but I miss the crackle and the smell. Still, it is a fireplace! We were on 10 acres at the old house, and I would spend hours meandering through the woods all year. Those thick snowfalls were my favorite hikes. Also, clear, moonlit nights after a snowfall…so cold, but the snow just sparkled. Worth the frozen nose…
I agree. I probably use the gas FP more just for its ease, but I miss that cracking…and the smell! As long as it is warm!
I just learned the tanka form last month, upon entering a contest for haiku, senryu, and/or tanka. Senryu was new to me too, but I studied each form and tried my hand at them all. Yours is beautiful! I need to keep working. 🙂
Thank you so much! I find them addictive. Enjoy playing with them!😊
