beckon
winged company
through a blushing appeal
each petal, an invitation
treasure map to ambrosia concealed
butterfly moves proboscis probe
seeks nectar to consume
as soft flowers
beckon

Lovely nectar.
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it.
So did my butterfly… ^.^
Lol…😊
Amazing poetry.
Thank you so much! I’m thrilled you thought so.😊
Beautiful. Long live honeybees!
Thank you so much! Absolutely. The world would lose much of its sweetness without them.😊
And much of its food!
I want to be the butterfly because it’s so beautiful! 🙂
Thank you, Ally! I can’t wait to get my pots outside planted. I love those flowers. I’m filling the empty pots with words until I can…Lol
It’s a pleasure, Tanya. Have a good weekend! 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend, Ally!😊
Thank you, Tanya! 😀
So absolutely lovely!
Thank you very much! I’m so glad you thought so. The wax begonias are among my summer favorites. They are inspiring!
My pleasure! Yes, they are beautiful
😊💐
A beautiful spring thought, Tanya. Sounds like it was written with a very sharp pencil…Lol.
Steve
Indeed…Thank you so much, Steve!

Reblogged this on The Militant Negro™.
Thank you so much! Have a wonderful weekend!
Once again your words are magical. Thank you.
You made my evening!
I am happy to make your evening, take care and be very blessed Ms. Tanya.
I will. Thank you. The same to you, my friend!
Wow, another beautiful poem where one can settle and drink the words in one by one!
Thank you so much! I’m thrilled that you thought so!😊
Your words took my breath away…
Now you have made my day! 😊
Lucky you: I so wish. Back to single figures today and rain with a cold wind. The geraniums are blooming indoors. And the hibiscus. Well be able to move the janies back out again … one day … Love the photo and the poem’s images. Full of promise.
Thank you, Roger! It is heading your way. 😊
Sooner rather than later, I hope.
I hope so too, Roger!
It is! Thank you! I’m so glad you liked it. Most of the flower photos and a lot of the inspiration for the words come right off my back deck. It’s nestled between three rooms that all have sliders leading out to it. I load it with flowers every year. It is a happy, inviting place. My backyard is a mature woodland, so those flowers lure a lot of birds and butterflies to my deck (and squirrels and the occasional fox…Lol)😊
Phenomenal
Thank you so much, Manuel! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
My pleasure, you as well
😊
Invigorating. 🙂
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the embedded repetition of sounds … ‘eal’. ‘con’ . I like the shape of the poem too.
Thank you, Jane! I’m so glad you liked it. I have another Rictameter verse coming up this week. It’s a fun form to play with!
