grateful
for the holding
for this time-worn fabric
for the rough and frayed of life lived
that caught the edges of unraveled scarf
violently tossed by tempest’s wind
calming the storm within
for this sticking
grateful

You are welcome, Tanya! Best to you. 😍
Nice poem that speaks to the quiet acceptance of life with its rough edges. I appreciate the reminder to be in gratitude more Tanya.
Thank you! I am glad the piece resonated. I think without the rough edges we might not appreciate all the smooth and silky parts.
True, but I need reminders to appreciate them. 🙂

Hi Beautiful Lady,
Catching up again…amazing pieces of art! As always 🙂
Yesterday, I saw the first group of birds returning…Spring is coming and we already are enjoying Springlike days over here. This woman feels her sparkle getting re-energized 🙂
Sending another big hug! XxX
