The roots on that tree are amazing!
Thank you, Patricia. I had some lucky finds out hiking.😊
Beautiful tanka … extraordinarily beautiful photos to accompany! Wonderful … delightful!
Thank you so much, Jonathan! I got lucky with photo ops both days these were taken. Glad you enjoyed it.😊
Well done as per usual, Tanya. Interesting scripture at the end…money is the root to all evil. I’m honored to have found your site and enjoy reading it very much!
Enjoy your day,
Steve 🙂
Thank you, Steve! That means a lot to me. In a commercially driven society, I think we need to remember the damage that greed and consumption do and be careful to not get sucked into that vortex.
Have a wonderful day!😊
Something the Lord has warned us about time and again. Love of money is the root of all evil…and be careful of the friends we choose and the crowd we run with. Bad company corrupts good morals.
You have a great day as well, young lady 🙂
I will, Steve! Thank you.😊
🙂
So beautiful!!!
Awww…thank you!😊
Beautiful words and stunning pictures, the roots that you captured look otherworldly!
Thank you so much! They are some of my favorite shots from the last few months.😊
I never tire of the beauty of trees…
Agreed…they are inspiring.
Beautiful, Tanya, tanka and photos both. 🙂
Thank you, Steven! I’m glad you enjoyed them.😊
🙂
Beautiful and significant. Thank you!
Thank you, Jennie! What a lovely thing to say.😊(You made my day…)
You are welcome, Tanya. My pleasure!
😊
Your beautiful soul and spirit, shines radiantly in every word! It is so easy to lovingly embrace what you share…for all is a reflection of you my sister! Your picture inspires many thoughts, maybe a poem…you know you are inspiring! God bless!
Thank you, Wendell! Coming from you, with all the beautiful words you share on your blog, that means a lot to me. God bless you, my friend!
Wow your words and your way with words match the beauty of nature itself! Lovely!
Thank you so much! That is a really kind thing to say. I love these pictures, so the inspiration was definitely there. Glad you enjoyed this!😊
You are welcome 🙂 I love it when it is almost like the pictures or objects in nature put words in my head and they come through me as if from somewhere …
true inspiration…😊
Yes 🙂
Tanya, your final line is resonates. It reminds me of the Avatar movie with the wise old Willow tree. Keith
Thank you, Keith! I’m so happy you enjoyed it!😊
Dance of words and pictures in celebration …
Thank you so much, Dave! These pictures are some of my favorites.😊
I love how you illustrated this dance in slow motion…great pics as well. <3

Rooting for your photos!
Awesome! So glad you liked it!😊
Reblogged this on Postcard from a Pigeon and commented:
Tanya’s words have deep roots, too and inspired me to add this paltry poem of my own in response
Thank you for the share, Dermott. I would never use the term “paltry” with your writing. You are an inspiration to me.
Awww, you’re only saying that. Given that I’d just read your six previous posts, I saw deep references in your tanka. My poem was a spontaneous reaction.
I have to get over and read yours, but I always love your writing and learn from it. (so no, I’m not just saying that…Lol)
I’m learning a lot from your 50 word stories, btw. I just don’t always have time to comment.
Great sequence of photos and they blend so well with the verse.
I love those photos. They are some of my favorites. Thank you, Roger!
The impression I get is of a quiet, sacred place, with human faces peering from the rocks. I am a deep believer in the sacredness of place … and certain places overwhelm us with their holiness. This is particularly true of the first and last photos.
I love that. I think nature gives testimony to great and wise things, if we pay attention to the subtleties…
You are truly gifted Tanya! Your photos make me want to be there! Have a blessed day.
Thank you so much, Susie! You have a beautiful beginning to your blog. It is inspiring. Have a wonderful weekend.⛄
Very nice post!
Thanks so much! Glad you like this one. I love those root pics…
Always loved trees and nature in geberal
I agree completely…
When I walk through the woods filled with twisted roots I feel most at peace. You captured these moments.
