I was thinking you were in Spain (at least that was what my brain registered…lol). Sicily sounds amazing. I have never been to Italy, but it is high on my list of places to visit. Sicily sounds particularly nice.😊

I am Japanese.
I forcibly tried it as a Japanese haiku.
枯葉敷き 砂糖衣の 大地かな
If English literary translation;
“Dead leaves covering the earth of sugar clothes”
