in buds, fresh life sleeps
’til warm air blows, unyielding
then leaves of trees kiss

This is a beautiful haiku Tanya and captures the coming of Spring and the feeling of rebirth.

Thank you! I think it is reflecting my longing for spring to get here, too! I am tired of cold weather. 😉😊

Me too Tanya. We have a wonderful Spring day over here in the UK today, but forecasts of more snow at the weekend 😦

I can feel the sap stirring, though Spring is not yet sprung hereabouts!

Same here. This rhyme comes to mind, for some reason:
The spring is sprung, the grass is riz.
I wonder where the boidie is.
They say the boidie’s on the wing.
But that’s absoid. The wing is on the bird.

I like that, Dave. My grass is nearly riz. I have hope.

Thank you so much, Patty! The next book is almost ready for proof, and that process takes a few weeks. I will let you know as soon as it goes live. I tell much more of the story in this one. It is almost twice the length of the second book. I’m excited! Hugs! 😊

You’ve worded it well, “Nature” is very sensual.
