@roo_richardson I think we are maybe moving into an era where you (human writer) want to keep all your written notes and revisions on your ms. As proof. Outside of that, 100% certainty seems a stretch.

How self-published authors get there? No clue.

re: the AI book being pulled at Hachette - though I agree we shouldn’t let AI ‘books’ be published, how are they making sure to be absolutely 100% certain it was indeed written with AI? Because if there isn’t a definitive system in place this could become very messy for authors

How do you (humans) battle the Ai monster?

Me:

1. Maintain written notes and draft versions as proof my work is human
2. Open declaration on my blog About Me page that my work is original and not Ai-generated. (Also, I don’t use Ai😂)
3. Embrace hashtags like #noAi and #AiFree
