A Conserving Tanka

 

fallen leaf debris ~

skin decays through worm-fed holes ~

veins crumble away ~

rich fodder for verdant growth ~

thriving craves release of ruins.

      1. Thank you, again! I have a large project in the works that uses a background theme of listening to nature and learning from its wisdom and rhythms.

      2. I’m fired up about it myself. It’s a project dear to my heart that I’ve been thinking about for months. It feels good to be moving on it.
